CONSIGNMENT TERMS

At Otra Vez our customers are looking for boutique and high-end designer apparel, handbags, shoes, and accessories in new or excellent condition. We are specifically looking for current styles that are under two years of age. We do not take in vintage items, except for exceptional, high-end designer pieces from brands such as Chanel, Gucci, etc. Please know that we are very selective based on many factors including the condition of the item, what we know our customers will purchase, and what is seasonally appropriate. We want all of our consignors to be as successful as possible so we will only accept items that we think will sell; with that in mind there is a chance we will only be able to take in a fraction of what you bring. We do not accept lingerie, swimwear, pajamas, or bridal attire.

Quality and appearance is important to our customers. We ask for apparel that is cleaned, in excellent condition, and brought in on hangers. Items should be free of stains, snags, broken zippers, pet hair, and smoke odors. Keep labels intact, as it is difficult to price accurately if they are cut off. Keep price tags on if the piece is never worn.

The items that we accept will be consigned for 60 days. At the end of the consignment period, we ask that you either pick up your items or let us know if you prefer to donate them. Items that are left past the consignment date are considered abandoned and become property of the store. Most items abandoned are donated to Dress for Success or other local women’s charities.

The selling price of your items is determined based on many factors in order to get the best price for you. We consider the original retail price of the item, popularity of the brand/style, and condition when determining a price. When an item sells, you receive 40% for items that sell under $99.99, 50% for items that sell between $100.00 and $999.99, 65% for items that sell between $1,000.00 and $1,999.99, and 70% for items that sell over $2,000.00. *Specific fine jewelry and high-end handbags may be subject to a higher percentage upon request.

Items must be authentic. As a designer consignment we must be able to guarantee authenticity of all items accepted. We cannot sell knock-offs of any kind. 

No appointment is necessary! Bring items by the store at your convenience and shop around or lounge on our couch. There is no minimum or maximum amount you can bring by the store. It should only take a few minutes to review your items, depending on the amount brought in.
